What are compressor is everyone using?

and what style do you guys like better for the smaller compressors ex: pancake, hotdog (horizontal), stacked, twin tank, electric, gas
suggested least gal. (I know the bigger the better but whats the smallest)

for mobile guys do u just set it next to the car or what is the process, I've only used compressors in fixed locations but for interiors I think they are a big help, It's hard deciding sometimes I just think I should not get one and cost is a factor in my decision or lack of one

I bought the biggest one Sears had (Craftsman) that's electric and oil free, maintenance free type. It works very well and I only bought it to clean MF pads, but it's great to get dust out of crevices, etc.

I can't give you any advice on a small one, but we just purchased a Quincy 7.5 HP 80 gallon upright, dual piston two stage, that puts out 28.6 CFM at 175 PSI. That compressor ROCKS !!!!!

I use a Porter Cable pancake compressor as well...it is a 6 Gallon unit. One good aspect is that it goes to 150 psi...which makes for a little less cycling...

    For instance, for Tornadors.

I have a little one I use to quickly dust air vents and little cracks/crevices on interior jobs. It works great if you spray some APC between a trim piece, agitate gently, and then spray some air in there to get the moisture out and wipe up the dirty residue.

I just got the one that is always on sale for like $39.99 at Harbor Freight. I don't think it will run a Tornador or anything like that but for dusting, etc. it works fine. Plus it isn't that bulky so its great for mobile operations.
