Topping Klasse Sealant on Red
Guys I just applied klasse sealant to my car but some friends that don't know a thing about detailing are saying: you see you're abrading too much your car paint cleaning it, it's not very red anymore....
This car comes from factory with a deep red color which fades with time and I think they must apply something on the paint of new cars... BTW it's a clear coat paint.
So I was thinking.... what should I use to top klasse sealant to get that red deeper ?
Although I do like the pinkish look klasse alone gave to the car.... but it would be nice to show a lot of my friends that I'm not messing my car wish polishing + waxing.... or maybe I am ? LoL.....
http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/...nuba-glow.html
On this topic the guys were suggesting: Souveran, Collinite #915 and Meg's Gold Class Plus (liquid or paste ?)
Of course that I'm in for Meg's and Col's #915 considering cost......
I really don't care applying wax every month... I enjoy it a lot...
What can you guys tell me about it ?

I would find something with the most nuba content you can. I would go for Souveran, some of the Dodo products (some are made for red cars!), or Meguiar's gold class. I've used Meg's Gold liquid before and it looks decent just doesn't last long at all

I'm leaning toward Megs GC+ because of price, but it would be good to put a topper that would last at least 7-8 weeks.
Were you talking about this dodo wax ?:
Dodo Juice Orange Crush Soft Wax, carnauba car wax, dodojuice waxes, wax for warm colors, wax for red cars, orange car wax
Do you know how long does it lasts ?

Just about any Carnauba wax will add gloss and depth to your finish giving it that glow you're looking for.
Some sealants I really like
Sealants
Great Waxes
Wax
- Poorboy's World Natty's Red
- Dodo Juice Purple Haze Soft Wax
- Wolfgang Fuzion
- Sonax Premium Carnauba
- Collinite 845

Hi Bob... my car is already with a layer of klasse high gloss sealant I applied last sunday.... but I want something to top it that adds contrast to the red making it "more" red...

Re: Topping Klasse Sealant on Red
to top Klasse properly, u need a pure wax
Gold class is good when used alone but it has mild cleaning
try Meguiar's m26 wax or Poorboys RED
the poorboy is soft wax thats so easy to remove and looks wet!
the strawberry scent of PB is amazing too

Think twice if you're going to trade with ExoticAutoDetai.

Sounds like your looking for Souveran wax, but it is quite expensive. If you want something cheap but for a great value, I would get some 845.

I didn't knew GC+ had cleaners... thanks for the head up...
I liked the red option: Poorboys World Natty’s Paste Wax Red, Natty's Red Wax, Poorboy's carnauba wax, red car wax
Now that's some nice look!

Well... I have the #885 but don't think it pop's red out.... it does have an amazing shine... but really don't bring the red color out....
So I thought about #845 and #915... but I'm worried to buy it and to achieve the same look #885 gives... which is great but not what I'm looking for....
I really could buy souveran (and I'll someday), but I'd rather try something close to it that's cheaper for now...
