    I had a link for products that are used to remove stain from glass.steelwool 0000 is another thing used for stain removal.look at this site hope it will help.

    I had some really bad waterspots left from the area where the windsheild wipers don't clean. Here's what I used and it'll probably save your arms and shoulder from much pain. First I used DP High Performance Glass Restorer which takes off all the baked on dirt from the window, then to get rid of the water spot stain I used MX-7 Glass cleaner. I just applied the MX-7 with a foam applicator let it sit for about 10min. then used a light solution of DP 4 in 1 and wiped it off. My windsheild looked like a mirror.

    I thought windshields are supposed to be transparent, not reflective.
