    Recommend anything else?

This is the setup I'm planning to get. The only thing I have right now is P21S paintworks cleaner and the paste wax. I want to get a PC so that I can get things done faster (girlfriend complains I spend more time with the car than her)

This should be a good start? Or do you recommend something else?

Add a bottle of XMT #3, and some Cobra MFs and you are set.

    Definitely get some Cobra MFs.

Wouldn't you like to get a couple of foam pads and some swirl removers since you are getting the PC?
What if the Hokey Pokey IS what it's all about???

you should bump the light XMT kit up to intermediate. instead of getting XMT2 and XMT1 with what you have now, you can get XMT3 and XMT1 with the intermediate kit. This will give you the supplies needed if you have some deeper swirls and scratches.

also, after i did some reading last night, you may want to pick up either one of the two finishing glazes made by DP or WG. The XMT glaze that is included with the kit will not let the Poorboys Sealant you chose to bond to it because the XMT glaze has carnauba in it.

Other than that, yore all good!

Thanks for the tip on getting the intermediate instead. Don't even know what the glaze does yet. Still got more reading to do.

I was just going to do the following:
    wash
    clay
    swirl remover
    polish
    sealant
    wax

FWIW, I found that the EX-P does have some filling properties. That is the main use of glazes, is to fill in scratches. You definitely need pads. I would suggest two each of the light cutting, polishing and finishing pads. There is also tire shine, though you could get something decent OTC if you want.

If you don't have pads research the Edge pads, then make an informed decision. I have them and find them easy to use, they give great results and they're easy to clean.

with the XMT 3. You'll use it if not on your car on someone else's. A guzzler and some MF's and you're golden. Do you have clay and carwash already?

I've got lots of MF. I think I'll pick up a guzzler or two though
