    Lake Country Foam Pads

I have a few 5.5 Inch LC (seen here Lake Country 5 1/2 x 7/8 inch Beveled Edge Foam Pads, buffing pads, Lake Country curved edge pads, polishing pads). I've used them before and really like them. I just used a brand new one tonight and about 15 min into doing the hood, the middle of the pad exploded almost. Just yellow foam dust everywhere. I was nowhere near anything that could have caused this. Has anyone experienced something like this with these pads? I really like them but if this is a common occurrence, I'll have to find a different one.

I have used a lot of those pads and never experienced anything like that. Try calling customer service....They are always helpful!

That isn't normal. IMO LC has the highest quality of foam available to pads.

I wouldn't let that deter you. Call them and I am sure they will make it right. I've used many different pads and LC has the best durability from the foam to the adhesive.

Yea, I've never really had any other issues with them for the most part. I had already planned on order some new pads today.
