Got My Flex 3401 2 Days Sooner...

    Hey Guys,

First a big thanks to Autogeek for getting my polisher 2 days sooner. That 15% sale was epic and I couldn't have gotten my fun new toy without it. Now I have a question for all you Flex users because this will be my first time with the machine. I understand the forced rotation and the power behind that. My question is that I usually polished my car with a Griots 6" DA with Orange Lake Country Pad with Wolfgang Swirl Remover and then a White Lake Country Pad with the Finishing Glaze. Considering this machine is more powerful than the Griots, should I reconsider my pad selection? Maybe use the Swirl Remover on a white pad? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

I think the standard answer here would be to try the least aggressive method on a test spot. If it gives you satisfactory resultt, then that is your answer. If not, step it up a level of aggression until you find your sweet spot.

Kevin makes a good point. Nothing more important than a test spot.
