Sur Buff pads How much pressure?

How much downward pressure should you use when polishing with the Sur Buff pads, a little less than traditional foam pads? A lot less? The same? Using them for the first time today thanks a lot

Re: Sur Buff pads How much pressure?

Moderate to little pressure depending on the hardness of the clear. Also, use half or less product than you would use on foam pads and use a pad cleaning brush after every or every other section. Only work in 9"x9" or 10"x10" squares as well as you want to use your compounds while they're still moist. Do several quick passes while the product is wet, then slow down once your compound starts to dry. Once you see that you're not getting any more correction, and your compound is drying, it's time to clean the pAd and reapply more product.
