    Diluting OID...

Has anyone tried using different types of water (distilled, filtered, tap, etc) while diluting OID? Have you noticed any difference between them?

I'm wondering if it would make a difference...

Since its being used on paint I try to use distilled. It seems to streak less than my tap water/OID mixture does. YMMV.

I use it on a damp finish while drying, so tap water works too.

    Re: Diluting OID...

Even though my water is soft, I use distilled for OID. I use tap water for APC. I spent $49 for OID. I will spend $1.50 for DW to optimize OID performance. Just my $.02.
