mother's system?
I was wondering, i don't see a lot of discussion about the mother' 3 step cleaner/glaze/wax system. Are those any good? Currently i work with those product and the Meg's NXT Tech wax. Apply and remove with my 20 something years old 10 in. orbital. It gives pretty good results but takes an eternity to do a car. What do you guys suggest? I am looking at the PC 7424 to replace my antique.
Thanks

Re: mother's system?
Before I joined, I used only Mothers... the best OTC products that were in my area. It's a good system to get good results...
I recently purchased a PCXP which is a good DA to start with. Products depend on what you're looking for. I learned a lot reading a bunch of these forums and everyone is very helpful and friendly. Read these articles by expert Mike Phillips, this should help...

Re: mother's system?
Well, once you get a 7424XP, G110v2 or Griot's 6", you'll have a much range of products to use. The Mother's cleaner is much like the Meguiar's Step 1 cleaner. It's not really strong enough to tackle swirls and what not. But for a 10" like you have, it's a pretty good system to use, just not what I think you'll want when you upgrade.
