I need the most powerful, smallest, most quiet vac out there...but

I already have a Metro Vac and its fine but I need something wet dry.

I have had nothing but bad luck with Sears Shop-Vacs. I had a 6.5hp 16 gallon I just threw out because it was so loud, so big and had such little suction.

I would like to get something from Home Depot or Lowes if possible and would like to try and keep it under $100 but if its powerful, quiet and not enormous Im willing to go upwards a bit more. Im out the door right now to check out HD and Lowes but will check on my iPhone to see what yall say.

Before you ask yes I did a search and didnt really see what I wanted and no Im not new to detailing Ive been doing this since 1998 just new to AG and wanted some different opinions

    Thanks all!!

The Ridgid Pro Pack WD4550 isn't huge and is stackable, but it has a capacity of 2.5 gals. The Shop Vac Quiet Plus 585-12-00 has 8 gal capacity, and it has quite in the name. But look for the Ridgid WD1450. It was tops in it's class and has a 10.5 gal capacity. I'm looking at Consumer Reports testing on this, and the newest one test was 2007, so I'm not for sure if those models will be on shelves still or not.

I use the Pro pack and love it, quiet, yet powerful and easy to lug around

I got this one from Lowes. I was very surprised at how much quieter it was versus the previous shop vac I had. It also has a remote on/off switch at the end of the hose.

I first found the RIDGID one, then ran into the Kobalt one which looks about the same, wall mountable, remote on/off and its blue. :-) I have been very satisfied with the Kobalt and they gave me a 10% discount to cover the extended warranty.

The Fein Turbo II is extremely quiet and has great suction, but it is spendy.
