Powerball or LC wool ball or Flitz Ball ??

I would like to buy a polishing ball to polish wheel faster. There's a great deal at my local car store for the Mother powerball mini and a mobile screwdriver.

So, Which one is more durable/better/ease of use for wheel ??

Also, is a 220rpm screwdriver enought for the job?

    Thanks!!

The screw driver is enough. Just think about how fast you normally do it by hand, which works well enough right? Now imagine your hand buffing at 220 rpm.

I used a powerball for both paint and metal and it got the job done.

I love the Mothers Powerball Mini and PowerCone and use them on my uncoated wheels. I do prefer a standard electric drill (type attached to powercord) and none of the cordless seem to offer enough power from start to finish on all 4 wheels.

I think you'll be disappointed with the cordless screwdriver. It probably won't have enough charge to do all 4 wheels. Also, the stated rpms are unloaded. Put it under a load and you'll probably end up with half of the stated rpms.

Remember, 220 rpms is less than 4 rotations per second unloaded. With a powerball and a little pressure, you'll probably be at under 2 rotations per second.

Ok. I bought the screwdriver, I will try it, if it doesn't work, I will just return it.

I would be interested to hear from you on how it works. I know the Powerball is great stuff but I don't know about the screwdriver...Give us a post after you use it a couple of times.

I have used a Powerball with a power drill, with great results.

I tried the powerball mini.. and it went directly in the garager after 1 wheel!

Only good if you have big SUV wheel or 5 spoke wheel. But for a 1991 buick rims, they are sh!t. It can't go in the hole or they get stuck and force the drill. The lip is not large enough so they ball can't touch it.

And on top, I did my exhaust pipe and I had hologram on it!!. Seriously, I should have bought the WG finger polishing.

Any more on how the Flitz Ball compares to the power ball and wool ball?

As to these type of "power-buff ballz":

    I like using different-sized mushroom,
