DR. ColorChip Vs Langka paint chip repair

    Hi everyone,
I read in a post in which Mike Phillips spoke about a product called Dr. ColorChip and I wonder how that compares to the Langka paint chip repair. If anyone reading this has had experience with either or both of these products please provide your opinions/recommendations. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Stu,

I have not used the Langka, but have used Dr. Color Chip. It is very good on small spot chips. On their web site, they show how to use it for road rash. I tried it on my silver bmw, and as I said, it was great on the small chip here and there (provided you remove all the wax from the spot), but it did not do as advertised on the road rash. Granted my road rash on the front end of my car is pretty severe (driving on Rt. 80), and it is silver. From what I understand, it does work better on dark colored cars.

It does look much better then the touch up paint the dealer provides.

    Good luck!
