    Griots polisher (new)

Their new polisher looks like it might be a awesome deal. 7 amp motor for less than half the price of a flex. I am sure the flex is a better polisher because of its positive drive, but it looks like it would blow the porter cable and the meguires units out of the water. Cant wait for some reviews!

I am curious which polisher is the smoothest: PC7424XP, Meguiar's G110, or the new Griot's Garage 6" Random Orbital. I like the performance of my PC7424, but for polishing sessions I would definitely want something smoother as my PC7424 makes my arms tired quite quickly.

Or perhaps the $300 Flex dual action is the way to go for polishing smoothenss.

I have G110 and I have new Griot's unit on it's way. I do not plan on doing review but if you see my G110 posted for sale on boards that will answer your question.

BTW, looking at units based on amps is guaranted way to end up with apples and pineapples comparison, even if one stays solely within DA territory. I know number of DA units that have same amps as "PC" yet can not polish even if their life depends on it.

Jason was rather impressed with the new Griots unit, said its a tuff cookie and rather hard to bog down. I would love to test one, and cannot wait to see forum reviews as you all get your hands on it.

By now everybody knows how much I love Flex XC 3401.

However, Flex can not get into tight spots on my cars nor it can do 3" pads (yes, it's not a typo, I said 3" pads, not 4" pads) nor it can do my carpets. There is no such thing as a silver bullet among tools, various tasks will call for different tools.
