Suds Question.......
I use DG or Optimum wash. The soap suds up great in the pail and the first one or two mitt fulls used on the car. But from there on I have little to no suds, especially by end of the clean. Do you have the same situation or do you have suds throughout your wash? I do have a house water softener so that may be the culprit but suds are never an issue in the laundry or dishes. So if the suds are gone is there enough slickness to the soap itself to do the job swirless?

Re: Suds Question.......
Suds don't really do anything with a car wash .... they look cool, yes, but there isn't much functionality to them. Take ONR, for example. It is a rinseless wash but has 0 suds. It is full of lubricants which safely cleans the paint, all without suds. So as long as the wash solution still has lubricity, you'll be fine.

Re: Suds Question.......
Yankee Fan,
I had the same question so I bought the AG Foam Gun; it came with a sample of the DP Extreme Wash. NOW I have all the suds you could imagine. There are pricy but I love it and will probably not go without it, I do still use the two bucket method but first spray the suds, let it dwell for 30 seconds then use the same wash concentrate in the bucket. Works out great.

Re: Suds Question.......
Are you using the two bucket method washing out mitt in clean water before going back to soap ?? If not, likely the dirt, grime, and other items on finish that transferred to mitt is helping to diminish the suds quicker.
I would suggest that lubrication is likely a better judgement of soap versus just foam or suds. Wonder what others think ??

Bite your tongue....of course I use two buckets :-) I was hoping that the soap itself was the important part but I think I once read the suds, meaning the bubbles of air, helps with lubrication????

Re: Suds Question.......
I have the same experience, regardless of car soap that I use: lots of suds in the beginning then very little suds towards the end of the wash. I like seeing the suds because it more easily allows me to see where I just wiped soap on the car so I don't go over the same area twice, but the sudsiness/foaminess of a car soap is typically not an indicator of how much actual soap is left or how hard the car soap is working.

Re: Suds Question.......
simple solution would be to run a foam gun. They are suds...lol
I would be more concerned on proper lubrication evne if there is no suds..

Re: Suds Question.......
Optimum suds more than any soap that I've used in a bucket. I also use DG wash. DG and PB SS&S have more lube than most. I've gotten to where I don't like suds as much as lube because of suds that don't rinse out of channels at times and all of the suds left in the rinse bucket. Give me the lube any day.
