No better prep than a Heat Gun

Gonna keep this 1 short & sweet.
When it comes to restoring faded plastic trim, a great way to prep it before applying any kind of product is using a heat gun. This way you’re not back to faded once your product wears out.





Finish it off with Solution Finish Fusion Grey.







Do any of you guys ever use a heat gun on plastic trim?

This is actually the 1st time trying this method with Solution Finish, reason being is I only have the Fusion Grey and it’s rare to see a vehicle like this with grey plastic trim.
I haven’t tried the regular Solution Finish.

Someone showed me this trick years ago, and it works.

The Solution Finish really knocked it out of the park on this detail. No need for the heat gun on the grill. I’ve never been this excited about some grey plastic trim. Lol.
