I was in a similar situation. I happened to have a bottle of cancoat which I just applied. I'm not sure where tou live but Temps were already dipping below 20s for me. I didn't have the time due to unforseen travel and health/time issues. Also funny enough my never used cancoat lid wouldn't come off. So I had to cut the lid off and waste the rest of the can.

So I would do what you can and then enjoy it.

Ordered the essence extreme and Gliss. If it’s here in time I’ll use it, if not I’ll use it on something else or give it away.

Have you tried System X Diamond Ceramic Coat? It has been found to leave a greater thickness than most ceramic coatings on the market, hence its 8 year warranty for used cars and lifetime on new cars. Send me an IM if you have any questions.

System X is an authorized installer only coating. The op is doing the coating himself.

1 layer of UK 3.0 and top with a layer of SiC for it's added protection and slick feel. Then simply top annually with CanCoat EVO and you're golden for years to come.

Did the baggy test today. I sense a lot of claying in my near future. Was hoping I would have to because there was virtually no reaction to IronX. However, I guess the month sitting at the factory and the extended train ride did have an effect after all.

Stopping by to say I got a little more done on the new Maverick today. Couldn’t tell any difference between using the gloss pad and a Rupes Yellow so the paint was in really good shape. Reflections from Essence and both pads are amazing and the metallic really pops.

Two layers of UK 3 on the Maverick. Pulled it out in the sun and found two high spots I was able to level out. Not bad considering my garage has the lighting of the bat cave. Just waiting till the 4 hour window to expire to put on the Gliss (or maybe tomorrow).
