PM Coating Question from 627PCFan
As Mike used to do on the forum so that everyone can chime in. I appreciate the PM's asking for advice on various products. But at times it is simply faster getting answers from the knowledgeable forum community. Other members feel free to chime in this thread to help 627PCFan.

This may be a bit of a cop out but either coating would be a good option. Both from trusted brands. There are a couple difference between the coatings.
Pure Evo will harden up on the applicator and offer more darkening on darker paints.
SiC will offer slickness but it won't harden up on the applicator.

Yeah, SiC is pretty slick but I don't think it's the easiest coating to apply with long flashing time. If slickness is the goal, I think Mohs EVO is easier to apply and yields similar results. If you want that candy look with darkening effect Pure EVO or UK3.0 is probably the way to go.

Re: PM Coating Question from 627PCFan
First go with Gyeon Pure. At first, I wasn't impressed but then I remembered my truck usually has 3D Speed topped with Collonite 845 or 915 so it wasn't a big "jump" but it's candy alright.
2 hours of cleaning/decon.
4 hours of polishing with Menz 3500
1.5 hours of coating time
Looks great. I spend so much time cleaning other peoples cars, now mine can remain decent
