I switch to using an AF Saver applicator from a MF towel and applied it with an eye dropper. Did a full panel and then removed. Worked well.

Didnt think about that and it is very true. My previous experience was applying gliss on top of car pro lite . However gliss is a very slick coating and easy to removd
Interesting theory

Gliss was manufacturered to be a topper that you could use as a stand alone if you wanted. Give the applicator a try and see what you think.

Come fall, can I add another layer on top of the existing Can Coat layer I applied in March?

At 6 months, it wouldn't hurt.
I think ScottHD said Cancoat starts losing some of its water behavior at 6 months. I'd have to go back and watch his 5,6,7 month videos to see for sure.

Go for it. You don’t need to. Especially since you are using Ech2o which will protect it to a degree as it’s altering the surface tension for a few days.

I believe that was the OG version for long term and not Evo. The Evo version is a new formulation has no long term testing from anyone. But at 7 months it is still good.

Yes, thank you, you are correct.
His new Ceramic Spray Coating test is at 3 month mark so far and Cancoat Evo still looks at 100%.

Re: Cancoat evo bad experience or not?
I watched a bunch of the videos about application and decided the best thing for me was spraying from the bottle onto a microfiber brick applicator, it worked perfect ….I sprayed very close to the applicator , like a half an inch or so…wipe on, wait 2-3 min the buff off, 1 panel at a time.

Uh, are you sure? CanCoat is supposed to be a wipe-on/wipe-off product. It isn’t like a regular coating where it has to flash and stays on for a period of time. I actually made the mistake of applying the old CanCoat like a traditional coating and I got quite the shoulder workout trying to remove it.
