Question Best method/tools/products to use for first in AC vents?

Hey all. I bought a 2002 F150 from the original owner that lived on a farm. Needless to say, the inside of the truck was smothered with dirt from his property. Got most of everything cleaned up but the AC vents have a lot of natural dirt built up from him driving the truck around his property with the windows down

Any tips on how to attack this would be greatly appreciated!

PS - I’ve tried q-tips and brushes but the dirt is caked pretty good..

Buy some foam swabs that look like this. This is what I use on vents to take care of exactly what you’re describing. The brush works “ok” and Q Tips suck, but these swabs work perfectly. Just spray it once with diluted APC and thank me later.

I've actually had good luck with the cheap foam paint brushes.
They might not be the best, but for less than a $1, they work well.

    Something like this.

Wheel Woolie Vent Brush and a can of Stoner E-Z Gust will help remove the dirt from the vents.

On extremely dirty hard to get at areas I use a paint or detailing brush saturated with apc. After brushing out area hit it with some compressed air-repeat until clean

This is the type of dirt you can clean out with the swabs and a bit of APC.
