    Water spots in the winter

My layers of Colinite and TW spray wax have disappeared after around three months and winter yuck.
Now I got spots everywhere after the last wash.
It's the dead of winter here and my truck don't fit in the garage. My only hope is get in the carwash bay after midnight some night next week and spend a few hours on it.
It's very humid (100%)and impossible to dry it after a wash. All I can do is keep wiping it down best I can.
The later it gets though the odds of someone showing up to wash their car are slim so the humidity may dissipate some. It is heated.
What would do the trick by hand?
I'm thinking maybe a Meguiars Cleaner wax to get rid of the spots then just bucket wash it off then some type of spray wax/sealer for something for protection. Then repeat the spray after each wash.
    It's probably 50°F - 60°F at best there too.
    What would you do?
BTW I can bring my trailer to block the stall behind me. It's a 4 stall outfit.

Fender flares to reduce tire Spray. You could use TW GRAPHENE CERAMIC WAX after the One and done polish.

Flares would help some but they look hideous.
I just found this in my stash.
I would think it would get rid of the spots for sure.
Then hit it with this TW spray.
Just needs to get me 2 - 2 1/2 months then I can break out the Porter Cable 7424xp and bring it back.

I guess I'm just looking for an OK on my plan.

You could try the spray coating of that same line and then top it off with this spray detailer you have pictured.

Re: Water spots in the winter

Hey guys it's been cold as hell here and snowing every other day the last week so my truck has been parked.
Tomorrow night I have a chance to hit the car wash and try this out to get rid of the spots.
My plan was to first get it in there and let it warm up for around 10-15 minutes then do a thorough bucket wash.
Then dry it off best I can. It won't be 100% dry because of the humidity.
Then use the TW Ceramic acrylic black polish by handWater spots in the winter, doing the whole truck without wiping any off. I'm assuming the polish will not dry because of the humidity.
Then do another bucket wash new bucket with just a little soap, wiping off the polish.
Then dry it off best I can again.
Then wait around for the humidity to dissipate. Do the wheels and tires .
By now it will be 2 am.
Hopefully nobody shows up to wash their car.
After I get it dry as possible, hit it with the TW Ceramic 3 in one detail spray.
Or get a different spray with better protection?

Everything sounds good but i don’t get the polishing step…. Just clean it up and polish in spring.

    Ahhh….

If the paint is etched by water spots there alrady there i’d still wait. If paint not clean enough migh just switch out swirls for water spot.

But also i wouldn’t want to do that in the cold.

Good luck and I hope everything comes out ok.

Re: Water spots in the winter

Well I finally got a chance to try this.
It did work but the humidity inside the car wash made it kind of messy.
I washed it first then tried to dry it off somewhat but never could get it dry so I just did the polish over the wet surface.
I went over the whole truck then just blasted the polish off. I rewashed it then hit it with the TW 3 in 1.
It looks better but nowhere near what I want but it will have to wait now until it warms up. First 60°F day we have I'm breaking out the PC 7424xp
