Dr. Beasley’s NSP

So after reading The Guz post about Gyeon’s new Evo coatings, He got me interested in the’s polishes.

After watching the video he linked about them it made more sense although I did feel like i was watching an infomercial.

I like the idea of not needing a panel wipe. Like that it runs cooler with longer working times. I also like that you use faster and more passes.

My only hold back is i have not been impressed with anything i’ve used from Dr. Beasley’s.

Love to hear other forum members experience.

You can check out the write up from Mike P.

Review: Dr Beasley's Nano Surface Primers and 1201 Paint Coating - 1947 Dodge Panel Delivery Streetrod

There can be a bit of ghosting but that is completely normal. Wipe and coat right over it and it won't come back. There are some benefits to them such as no panel wipe, no dusting and a great finish. They are all pretty versatile. I have more time with 95 and 45. The compound 150 just a bit.

I have used it on 3 vehicles so far. Mine a few months ago ( i think 6 or 7 months) and recently on my brothers and dads. All with different coatings and no issues.

What makes it better than CarPro Essence or Gyeon Primer? Or it’s just like those but from another brand?

This video The Guz posted on his write up for Pure Evo on Autopia. Whole different technology. It’s what got me interested.

Damn, now that got me interested as well. But it's hard because Essence is so damn good, I just love working with it. The NSP stuff seems like if you get the hang of using it that can also be easy and has its benefits. Maybe I'll try that some day.

Love essence also and I love Eraser’s smell….

Essence is good as is Gyeon Primer. The Dr. B NSP's are pretty versatile and having a compound that can finish out coating ready is pretty nice. They do save a lot of time and once the technique is down, they work well. The NSP 45 would be the equivalent to Essence and Primer. Other than the slight ghosting that comes back it looks a bit glossier to me over the other two.

Can you explain what ghosting is to me and how if needed to be corrected?

There is a couple videos in this thread that captures it. Most noticeable with NSP 45.

    Re: Dr. Beasley’s NSP

Bringing back an old thread here... but im looking to try my hand at dr beasleys abrasives for an up coming coating job on straight black paint. Coating with mohs evo.

Really didnt want to order both 95 and 45, but just not sure if 45 would have enough correction ability and finishing out to compare to my usual use of 3d 502 or menz 3800.

    Advise anyone? Thanks in advance
