    Interior Protectant Recommendations

What’s everyone’s go to for an interior dressing?

I have NV Guardian (12-18 month coating) on my Leather seats which I top up with NV Nourish every 1-2 months. I was told I could use the coating all over the interior so I did that too. I’ve been hitting the non leather parts with Megs Quik Interior Detailer to give it a light clean as well as top up on protection.

The NV Guardian is awesome and leaves a nice finish, but I think it’s worn off on the vinyl and plastics so I was looking for a dressing to hit those parts every other time instead of just the detailer. I’ve been using the Megs New Car Scent Protectant for this lately but want something different. Thinking maybe perl or 303.

What’s everyone using and what are your combos methods for the interior?

303 is my go to for interiors because it just flat out works. They have many solid products in their line up but like many companies they have "that one", 303 protectant is "that one"Interior Protectant RecommendationsInterior Protectant Recommendations

I have not used the 303 product, but I have no doubt that it is good.

For a dressing to add some protection to your vinyl and plastic interior trim, I like Lithium Inner Space. They nailed the new/factory fresh look without looking greasy or shiny. Check it out, this is also a good one.

If you want a little more durability then you might get from Inner Space, then Gyeon Preserve is my current favorite. Also a good one to check out.

I've used 303 for years, then was using Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer, then went to ONR and I'm now using ONR and Gyeon Interior Detailer. Optimum Protectant Plus is also very very good.

How long are you getting out of Gyeon Preserve?

Are you using a dressing when using the Megs or Gyeon detailer? Or do it so frequent it’s
    not needed?

I don’t wipe down my interior frequently enough, otherwise some sort of detailer is all I would use.

No I wasn't using a product that left a glossy look behind. 303 leaves a nice dry/matte finish. I've always liked 303. Gyeon is so similar to Megs IMO. Gyeon smells better. OPP works great, but doesn't smell all that great. Leaves a very subtle finish behind, if none at all. ONR is probably the best though in terms of value and it works great.

Yeah, I prefer the matte finish which is why I love the Megs Detailer. Also, it can go on screens etc. If I were wiping down weekly or every 2 weeks, I’d call it a day and just use this. But, sometimes I only get to our interiors every 1-2 months, so thought it best I lay down some sort of stronger protectant.

Hard for me to say for sure, as I also have been using the Hybrid Solutions Interior Mist Detailer every few weeks.

2-3 months would be a reasonable durability expectation for Preserve.
