Re: Top 3 Favorite Detailing Products
I would say whichever towel lasts the most through washings is the one to get. If they are equal, then whichever is cheaper.
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

After I use my auto squeegee, I use one Meguiar's X2000 towel. Works fantastic. The towels mentioned in this thread however have piqued my interest.

CarPro Reset - Always love using this stuff, one of CarPro's best products, one the best soaps period!
P&S Paint Gloss - I have reaching for this quite a bit lately, I think there is still a place for traditional detail sprays.
NV Onyx - Have been using this for a few years now, absolutely love the scent, application ease and the look.
Top 3 towels -
TRC Gauntlet (medium) - just a great drying towel.
TRC Creature Edgeless - love these towels, great for a variety of tasks. I use them for door jambs, delicate interior trims and rinseless washing.
TRC Car Wash Towel - These are a do-it-all type of towel, great size for interiors, dirty jobs ect.
Would you say P&S paint gloss is similar to Adam's brilliant glaze?

I don’t hear about many people here using squeegees. Only on the glass, right?

I use an automotive squeegee on all jobs across the entire car. I know this is controversial and I will read/listen to anything anyone has to say about it. But I sincerely yet to have any problems and it really saves on towels.

I can speak to the PFM, great towels, about ready to retire my one it is starting to snag on corners and stuff, had it for probably 7 years now.
I love my two CG wooly mammoths also. They hold a ton of water and have also held up well over many years. Absolutely no visible degradation that I can see.

Love the attitude in the linked video. You add a bit more emotion to the detailing side of things, and let’s be honest, it gets kinda dull sometimes. Keep on keepin’ on!
