Agree. What you put on all summer has to survive the winter...

The Season of Discontent is upon us...
High of 43°F this afternoon (lows have been in the single digits for the last week or so)! You already know that means I broke out the bucket and hose today. I wish I had a before pic…
I broke out the Meguiar’s HCW spray and hoped for the best while using the spray on wet car, rinse off method. Then used the EGO 530 to get most of the water off, and followed that up with a wipe down of the entire car using Griot’s BOSS Detailer to clean up the remaining water and remove the light streaking from the HCW application. Glad I was able to boost the HCW today, as that should get me through the next couple months!
The first time I drive the car it’s going to look like it hasn’t been washed in weeks, but that’s life! We are also prepping for 9-13” of snow over 24 hours between Wednesday morning and Thursday morning!!

Re: The Season of Discontent is upon us...
The temps here have been such a roller coaster I just haven't been able to get after the cars much.
Every time we'll have a couple days in the 30's, either I'm busy and can't get out in the garage or the following day is back in the deep freeze. Or, like this week: Looking at the forecast there were 2 days above 30. Was going to take advantage of the 2nd one, but didn't realize that it was only above 30 in the wee hours of the morning. During the day it was down to 10° again...
