Decal replacement prep
I need to replace the decals on the bedside of my truck,(4x4).
Once I peel off the old ones what should I do?
Repolish the area then IPA wipe down?
Thanks

Re: Decal replacement prep
I would do wipedown/Goo Gone first and then polish the area

Re: Decal replacement prep
Like Klasse Act has stated, use a solvent to remove any adhesive residue first, then polish, then remove any polishing oils with another solvent wipe.
And a suggestion for installing the decal... Use masking tape as a guide to ensure you get it applied straight.
