Re: Anyone still use old school combos?
Nope. Feel stuff out now is better technology. A wax may (does) look better than a coating bit lacks in ease of use and durability.
If a garage queen i get waxing but coatings 100% over sealants.

Hmm. I find wax pretty easy to use. Especially Souveran. It doesn't get any easier than that.
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

Well now that depends......
Twice a year with Collinite, and the protection it gives lasts all the way through a harsh NY winter with ease.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Yeah but you could apply a coating once and leave alone for 2 years.

No way I could not touch my truck for 2 years.
And, I’d appreciate it if you’d stop trying to push coatings like they are crack or something.
Oh, wait a minute…….

kinda where I'm at
I'm not looking for kryptonite based products that provide a shelf life protection for a 1/4 million half life years or so ...
I actually like polishing/waxing my car a couple of 3 or 4 times a year.
