Windshield Help
Need everyone's opinion. My wipers seem to get a film on them and it causes them to make a squeaking noise and after a while, eventually start to skip. Doesn't matter what amount of rain, hard or light. The windshield itself is about 2 years old.
What I've done-
Stripped and polished.
Stripped and polished then applied rainx.
Stripped.
Always got new wipers after trying something new.
I've tried many different brands of wipers from cheap ones to Bosch icons. I'm out of ideas.
Here is a video of what is happening-

Re: Windshield Help
Are you sure that is the blades? It sounds almost like something mechanical in the wiper motor/linkage.
If it is the blades I would try Optimum Opti-glass.

So I don't think it's mechanical because when I put on brand new blades, no matter the brand or type, they work fine for a couple of weeks or a few days of straight rain, then they start to have issues. I feel if it was mechanical, it'd show itself a lot sooner than that.

Give this a shot
Stoner Glass Stripper
You can get it at a Advanced Auto. After, do not put anything on the windshield. See if that helps.

So I currently have Rain-X X-Treme Clean Clear Surface Cleaner on hand and have used it before but I've always treated the window after, would this work fine?

I'll grab some of the Pinnacle stuff because it seems like it's a good idea to try instead of using a sealant like rainx.

Re: Windshield Help
Wipe the glass down with IPA after polishing before applying any sealant or coating.
