Favorite wax for a new white car?

What is your favorite wax to make a white car pop? And do you like sealants or Carnauba waxes better for White paint?

Re: Favorite wax for a new white car?

Two of my highly liked picks, both which in my opinion are true hallmark products would be Collinite #845 Insulator Wax, and Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0.

The Collinite will produce a look that is deep, a nice warmth, an impeccable glow. This will produce that all day spent BlueCoral look, with much less work. It's an easy product to use provided you apply it thinly, it also has no cleaners in it, is a hybrid product meaning both natural and synthetic protectants, and lasts longer than many of the very best estate waxes that can be had.

Same with Collinte's #476 Super Doublecoat Wax, (paste) which is even more durable than #845, and is their most durable product.

A good 3 months protection with #845, and 5-7 with #476 for a daily driver IMO.

Now, if you want a razor sharp, deep gloss, highly reflective finish, more sterile, but surely a top stunner of a product and the results it produces would be the Wolfgang Sealant I mention above.

Very easy to apply and remove, a breeze.

This product needs to be applied, let dry-cure for 40 minutes time, then wipe off and let air cure for a period of 12 hours, not getting the vehicle wet. The vehicle looks amazing right after wipe off, but it gets even better looking as it sits and cures. Like you applied a coat of glass on the paint, truly stop and stare, and say wow!

Of course with any protectant product used, and your car, whether brand new, or older, you need a clean Easel to get the very best results.

As you might know, many of us use the "Plastic Baggie Test" when checking a condition of a paint, be it new or not. Read up on such if you never heard of such.

Saps, oversprays, contaminant fallout on the paint should always be addressed first. Washing, possible Iron Decon, Claying, possibly even polishing.

Not all vehicles coming straight from the dealer are as clean and pristine as one would like. There's hundreds of horror stories here of what dealers have done to brand spankin new rides, and price has no bearing or influence of how they may treat a car-your car.

Keep in mind the two protectants I mention above, neither really have much, if anything in the way of cleaners in them. You ideally want to apply these products on pristine squeaky clean paint for best effect and results, short term, and long term.

    DoDo juice Shinecraft.

    Dodo Juice Shinecraft 150 ml.

It’s a hybrid carnauba wax and sealant. Designed for white and light colored cars. Great gloss and depth!

I personally like ceramic coatings or paint sealants on white vehicles. Nothing wrong with using a carnauba wax, but you will be applying it more often as it won't last as long as a ceramic coating or paint sealant. There are some durable waxes on the market like Collinite & Finish Kare. I've always liked the look of Pinnacle Signature Series II Paste Wax on light colored vehicles. The Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant is excellent and very durable. You could also go with an SiO2 Spray Sealant.

Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax will give you a deep, wet finish will exceed your expectations. car wax, carnauba paste wax, pinnacle

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant delivers a deep, wet, liquid shimmer unlike anything you can imagine.

I like Pinnacle Souveran Paste wax or Black Label. Love waxes and I know they don't have the durability of sealant or coatings, HOWEVER, IMO a wax brings depth and brilliance none of the aforementioned can do. AGAIN, MY OPINION!

But the OP has a white car. A sealant or coating will add more gloss and last miles longer than a paste wax.

Neither a wax or a sealant, but I found CQuartz UK on a freshly polished white car to look spectacular.

One of my all time favorites for white is Poorboys Nattys Blue paste wax. Very reasonably priced, smells great, easy to work with and makes white look wonderful.

Waxes last weeks, sealants last months…coatings last many, many months…..it’s that simple.
