Still struggle at times to get tires CLEAN

I don't know why but I still struggle to get tires clean - clean. I'm using and always have used Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner.

I just cannot get it to stop browning and get that good clean even dark black side wall look. It seems to always have something still there... I don't get it.

I used PERL for about two years but the last 6-8 months I've used DG 253. But I know both of those are silicone free.

IDK. Strange. Give MOTHERS a look next time. Currently 15% off or you may find it locally. When needed, it always stripped my tires hospital clean!

Sometimes it's almost impossible to get all the browning/blooming off a tire. Different brands are more difficult depending on how much antiozonant the manufacturer adds. I've scrubbed tires 3, even 4 times without getting it all off. Unless you want to spend the entire day scrubbing tires, you just have to accept the fact that some won't come clean, but a good tire dressing such as Pinnacle hides it. Just my two cents, I'm sure there will be some who disagree. I use Black Magic Bleche-White.

I was on the phone with the technical engineer from armour all a few years ago ,and we were talking about his products and I had Mis applied it. It would not come off the tires. I ask him what they used when they wanted to get a tire back down to 100% virgin rubber like it was just produced. He said stoners Tarminator. He was correct. Works perfect, I had browning for months and Tarminator got rid of it.

I kind of feel the same way about my tires, they seem to be tough to clean. It's probably all the junk I've been dressing them with. Still, I'd expect Purple Power or Meg's Ultimate All Wheel and Tire Cleaner to do it, but it doesn't seem to work. They're clean, just not bare.

In other news, the last time I did this the shine left over was actually really nice. I should have just let them stay that way. Tire dressings have been my 2021 thing.

With my previous tires, I could clean them with tuf shine and put on DG 253 and they'd very quickly start looking brown again. It made me wonder why everyone raves about DG 253. I put on new rubber and it seems completely different so far. The new ones have stayed looking good much longer.

    I’m curious:

•Have you ever tried machine scrubbing
    your tires?
-IMO: it is the best way to really deep
    clean tires.

Get the below tools…and you’ll never
go back to manually scrubbing tires:

-Mighty Mini Cordless Polisher (or aother
    cordless polisher of your choice)
-A couple of Cyclo’s Aqua Brushes

Interesting. I’ll keep that in mind for tough to clean tires.

What brush are you using? If by hand try this if your not already using it

If I want my tires “clean, clean” like as in coating clean.....I use a drill brush

Absolutely best way to clean tires.

Re: Still struggle at times to get tires CLEAN

TufShine recommends using their tire cleaner before applying their tire coating. I scrubbed the tires 4 times and there was still a slight browning in the foam. The fifth and final scrubbing was with LA Totally Awesome cut 1:1. The tire was finally clean. I used LATA on all tires after that and 2 scrubbings get the tires completely clean. The longevity of the coating or dressing depends on how clean the tires are to start with. I got some Meguairs Endurance Gel for free at a car show and I was not a fan. It never seemed to last very long and it washed off after the first rain. I recently worked on the current rental car that I have now and after scrubbing the tires twice with LATA, the Endurance Gel is lasting for two weeks.
I believe in treating everybody with respect, and clean cars. That’s what I believe in.
