DFB - Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after you get a chance to use it!

Thanks all for the input - I think I'm gonna pull the trigger and get a Tornador Black/Velocity Vac kit. I swear AG was watching, as there's a kit I don't remember seeing before that includes a 16oz DP All in One and a 6 pack of the edgeless towels that are always referenced here.

I remember a kit that came with a gallon of Blackfire APC, but for how often I use APC I'd be passing that on to my grandkids. But microfibers...

Plus I picked up a gift card during the recent VIP sale, so there's $20 off on top of the kit price.

I'll RTFM when it get here, but is after-use care as simple as a few drops of oil on the bearing? No "major" disassembly required?

As with any product, you should always get the good one. With the Tornador, you have to make sure that your air compressor is capable of at least 4.5 cfm. It will work with a lower flow rate but only for brief moments.
I believe in treating everybody with respect, and clean cars. That’s what I believe in.

    Yes.

You will not be happy hooking a tool like this to a little "pancake" compressor.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Re: Tornador: Just get the good one?

Got a chance to play with my new toy, ooops I mean tool, today.

My Tornador is driven by a 2.5hp compressor with 7.98 CFM.

It made short work of those mats and also helped with the drivers foot-well carpet. I also used it on the engine bay to spread some 303 into tight spaces.

Really glad I bought it and looking forward to using it more.

    Yes, love his work.

He has a very reasoned approach to how he details. I also sense the frustration at having to deal with the constant locking and unlocking of the state and how that is affecting small business.

Yeah it is hard from him, I told him to rest up and get his metal health back by taking his monkey bike for a ride clear his mind. People forget to exercise the mind plus! The body
