    Re: Need some new sprayers...

Sizzle - Do you have compressed air in your garage?

If you do and decide to go the pump up sprayer route, it looks like the Marolex sprayer has a spot where you could drill a hole and add a stubby valve stem (I just used a 1" rubber stem we use on our race wheels). Best if you have a regulator you can adjust and just set it to 40psi (or whatever spec the manual states if they give one).
Then, instead of pumping like crazy you could just top up at your air line and go.

I did this with a cheap sprayer I picked up at a big box store to experiment with turning into a cheap foamer (spoiler alert - turned out pretty well for $9). It's been a while, but if I remember correctly the 40psi came from either another manufacturer's owners manual (IE: I looked up an IK sprayer), or I pumped the pump the prescribed number of times with a full tank (lowest volume of air to compress) and checked the pressure.

Thinking more about it as I'm typing, I used a ZEP degreaser in that pump up "foamer" and even after sitting long term it still worked last time I used it. For how cheap you can get those pump up sprayers (shop around, seems like the cheap ones are all basically the same but some places charge a lot more than others), you could pick one up, add a valve stem, and use it till it quits.

All that being said, I can also totally understand wanting to just buy-right-buy-once.

Scotty.......... Whatever you decide on, I think we would all like to see the shots of the Kwazars getting the "St. Valentines Day Massacre" treatment.

I picked up a few of these a while back, and they haven’t given me one single problem.

Now if you’re wanting a pump sprayer, Marolex over everything!
X2 on the grey Tolco sprayers....they have worked great for me

Thanks everyone!!! I am going to look into finding the Marolex sprayers. I want a pump and spray type deal and I do have an air compressor, so great idea on adding a nipple on it and hitting it with some compressed air!

A few days ago I left 1 of my Kwazar pump sprayers outside and forgot to bring it in and someone made off with it.Need some new sprayers...

I’ve already ordered another 1. It’s unfortunate they didn’t work out for you and they aren’t exactly cheap, so I feel for you.

Kwazar works for some purposes better than others for sure. I definitely clogged a few up before realizing this. It's a shame because when they work they work really well. I limit mine to rinseless pretreat, sonax glass, and similar. Definitely no more wheel brightener or iron decon in a kwazar. Looking forward to trying some of the others suggested
