I use Griot's engine cleaner. Have used either SONUS Motorkote or Meg Hyper Dressing after that. Also picked up Motorplast to try out.

Re: Engine bay rubber and plastic

I clean with Green Star and then dress with either Hyper Dressing or Motorplast.

    Motorplast -

    Hyper Dressing at 4:1 -

For some reason, I prefer Hyper Dressing, probably because of the ability to dilute to taste. Motorplast is used neat, which I find a touch too glossy.

Hyper Dressing Dilution ratios for those who are playing along -

    High Gloss - 1:1
    Medium Gloss - 2:1
    Satin Finish - 3:1
    Natural Finish - 4:1

The blue ones are EZ-Detail Brush's. All three sizes come in handy, the small and large items, as well as the Go version. Only the large is listed on AG, which is what I'm using in the above pics.

The EZ Detail Brush is a safe, no scratch wash tool for your bike or vehicle.

This is the Go, or the toilet brush as I call it, brilliant for wheel arches.

The other brush is a short handle Vikan wheel brush. From past searching, I don't think these are readily available in the US. They are otherwise a flag tipped brush -
