    Help - plastic screen stained by 303

    Well folks, this is a new one for me. I've always used 303 interior protectant with no issues. But today I over sprayed some 303 on my dash and it splattered up onto a small plastic screen that sits up high, on the center of my dash. I thought I wiped it off, but after the detail I went for a drive and noticed it still had the 303 splatter marks on it.

    I've tried to remove it with some dish soap and water, then a touch of Windex, and finally some Klasse AIO on a cotton cloth. The Klasse helped a little bit, but nothing else has helped and it's still stained. Any tips, tricks, or ideas to clean this off?

    Thanks!

    {Hopefully 303 hasn’t chemically
    bonded to/with this plastic part.}

    This sucks man. But the lesson to learn is to spray the towel, outside the car, I prefer more than a foot or so away from the car all together.

    If all else fails, spray a microfiber with the 303 product and wipe the entire screen with it. Doing this may result in a albeit altered finish, it should at least be uniform.

    here's 303's solution for glass. i wouldn't use a brush on the plastic. maybe soak a microfiber in warm water until it warms up, wring it out and then use that?

    How do I remove 303 Protectant that has accidentally been over-sprayed on glass?

    To remove the cloudiness on the glass, we recommend the following steps…
    1.) Put hot water on cloudy surface, the hot water will strip the Aerospace Protectant off the surface. Be very careful when handling!
    2.) You may have to agitate the surface. Use a soft brush or something that won’t hurt the surface.
    3.) Wash off with soap and water.

    I would slightly alter that process for a surface such as the "screen" noted by the OP.

    1. Do not use overly "hot" water as that might lead to condensation behind a "screen".
    2. In lieu of a brush, I'd use a suede MF made for screens to agitate (scrub) the surface lightly. Only kind of brush I'd use on that would be a HQ boar's hair.
