Re: Your favorite Car Wash Soap
Uber SiO2 Rinseless is my favorite so you’ll like it. I like N-914 at 0.75 oz per gallon for a periodic thorough rinseless cleaning. And then Reset every month or so when it isn’t too cold out. And McKee’s Coating Prep Wash before applying a coating. Yep, too many car wash soaps. I blame all of you!

How is ONR as a soap/pre-wash?

Ditto. 2 great car wash soaps^
If we’re living in the good old days where we could appreciate a car wash for all its worth I’d pick and sorely miss Meguiars Gold Class and Meguiars Shampoo Plus.

Following the Mike P. mantra of "Find something you like and use it" ...
I am still quite satisfied with the performance of Optimum Car Wash ... nice price, super lubricity, won't affect your LSP.
Optimum Car Wash is a concentrated auto shampoo that washes away grime on your car & protects wax.

Re: Your favorite Car Wash Soap
My go-to is still Adam's Car Shampoo. I use it in a bucket and my foam canon. I have to wash in the sun and it has always done well with water spots. I tried P&S Pearl last summer. It foams nice, but it was terrible at water spotting when washing in the sun. I also use Koch-Chemmie GSF on occasion. It foams up great and rinses nice. I don't leave it on long, because it specifically says "do not let dry on paint".

I’ve been using Griots Surface Wash in my cannon. It’s very forgiving to drying, even in the sun.

I have been using GSF a bit lately. It's a nice product, mixes easily, smells great and as mentioned, rinses well.
I found Adam's Car Shampoo too thick to mix easily into a foam cannon. The cost of Adam's products in Australia is extortionate, a 16oz bottle costs $24.99 compared to $9.99 in the USA.

I don’t always use soap, but when I do I use Meguiars Gold Class. Normally I will just rinse less wash with ONR.

I switched to CarPro Reset a couple of years ago. Haven't yet seen anything worthy enough to make me switch.

It's extortionate in the US as well. Optimum Car Wash is $11.99 for 32oz / $30 for a gallon. Hyperwash is $35 for a gallon. I've always be curious about Adam's products, but the prices have kept me away.
