    Screwed up my paint!!

    Hello,

So, I attempted to apply Black Fire AIO to my 2021 Acura RDX (Apex Blue). Anyway, all seemed to be going well until I pulled it out into the sun. I have what appears to be holograms. What did I do wrong? I applied it by hand and followed the directions. I am waiting to get my buffer (should arrive in the next day or two), but I am so mad. What can I do to remedy this?

Is this normal with an AIO?

    Thanks much!

Did you wash the car first? What did you use as an applicator? Also could be you pressed too hard, but I doubt that….

Nope, applied it when the car had caked on mud. Yeah, it was freshly washed. I fixed it. I reapplied and worked it in a little longer. Looks good now. Thanks all!

Acura normally has soft paint so it’s easy to be left with haze/marring. I think you’ll have good luck with a polisher, as long as it’s a dual action and you’re using quality pads. The abrasive you chose is good.
