A gentleman stops by Autogeek yesterday with his brand new Acura. Says the paint feels bumpy after the dealership washed it.

He pointed it out to the Service Manager and the Service Manager said they could wetsand the car to fix it.

And Earl Scheib said if you leave the windows down, they'll do the interior for free when they paint the car ...

I also told him anytime he has to take the new car to the dealership to be very adamant that they DO NOT WASH THE CAR.

After the 3rd time my dealer finally got the message that I did not want my car washed. Each time my wife takes it in they ask her who details the car because they would like to refer their customers to that shop. They can’t believe it when she tells them her UPS man does it. I guess being her UPS man has it’s perks!
