3401 Out of stock & EOL/Replacements
With Flex EOLing the 3401 and just about backordered everywhere I'm wondering if anyone has intel to what is replacing the 3401 & timeframe or should I start looking at a Rupes Mille? I need to add a forced rotation to my inventory or Im going to have to bail entirely and add a DO machine with pads. Currently using my dewalt rotary but its getting heavy and Im getting older. Thoughts or recommendations?

Any of those machines previously linked above.
Flex ain't leaving this market. They're getting better.

Re: 3401 Out of stock & EOL/Replacements
I’ve had a 3401 since 2013. I just bought the CBEAST and wow is it smooth and quiet. I would recommend that or the corded XCE 10-8 125 (SUPA BEAST) that Dr Oldz linked. Both polishers will be a much smoother experience.
You may also want to call Autogeek if you want still the 3401. The 3401 alone shows out of stock but a couple of the 3401 packages are showing available. Might be worth checking. This is the time to buy with 15% store wide this weekend.

I just booked the XCE 10-8 125 (package) and ordered supplies today. $800 in damage in 6 hours

Re: 3401 Out of stock & EOL/Replacements
I did order the Supa Beast on one order and the supplies on a second. My goal is to 2 step the 77 Caddy by August and do a car show here in NH, and then 1 car job a month on the side, not for the money but because I like the work. I fall in the enthusiast category but when I do good work, I like the best tools.

Re: 3401 Out of stock & EOL/Replacements
And I’m going to pull the trigger on the PE-150 rotary today, primarily for scrubbing tires and if I ever need a rotary I’ll have it. That will complete my Flex cordless polishing family of XCE8, PXE80, and XFE15. Way overkill for a hobbyist but I like having the right tool for the job. I tried to get away from the PE-150 by buying the Milwaukee M12 rotary polisher but it uses a variable speed trigger and it is too hard to control the speed so it is going on eBay. So trying to save money ended up costing more.
