What are you using it on? That could be pretty harsh on interiors, pH wise.

•Most APCs will have a dilution ratio
    chart, imprinted somewhere on their
    containers’ labels, that’s been deemed
by their Manufacturers to be used for
the many types of cleaning tasks.

-(That’s usually what I originally go by.
I may tweek those ratios, further down
the line—to suit my real and or perceived
notions—of how individual APCs clean @
    those recommended dilution ratios.)

    •In all candor:
-There’s been so very few times that I’ve
actually used APCs @ full strength/undiluted,
that I don’t remember the reasons why...

    This is really important.

I used a non-automotive APC many years ago and even in it's diluted, ready-to-use state in the spray bottle it was strong enough to start removing the white painted labels on interior bits like the turn signal stalk.

APC's undiluted are pretty strong. I use Super Clean undiluted to clear hair clogs in the shower drain. Works as well as Draino. No undiluted APC will ever come in contact with my cars interior or exterior.

Re: Can I use APC without diluting with water?

most APC's (many other detailing products as well) in the gallon size are dilutable.
the best thing to do is read the directions on the label and follow (and use the product) accordingly.
the chemist/manufacturer developed and know their product best.

here's a website (below) that makes diluting chemicals simple.
make sure to have a measuring cup with markings..

    (step 1) enter container size
    (step 2) enter dilution ratio
(step 3) press the right arrow > in the little grey box and
it will tell you how much (in ounces) concentrate & water is needed.
