    Anyone still use 845?

After playing with tw hybrid and graphene and liking them, I guess I’m a bit nostalgic. Anyone still using 845? I still love it’s ease of use and may play with it again soon. It’s either that or fk 1000p.

I’m a late bloomer who bought my first bottle months ago. I can apply it almost as fast as a spray detailer. A little goes a long way.

I'm the same as John, bought my first bottle maybe 6 months ago. I've used it mainly on my FJ. I found that it has reasonable longevity everywhere except the roof, which is single stage white paint, while the rest of the car is silver with a clear coat. Nothing seems to last on the roof as long as it does anywhere else.

I did just apply some to my Mum's Qashqai on Sunday, very easy to apply, very easy to wipe off. I could see as I was applying it that the colour definitely got deeper, it's the best product I've used on the Qashqai, for looks anyway. It's garaged every night, so longevity should be good as well. Here's a pic I took this morning, when I moved it out.

I really like it, I'll keep using it, I like the application and removal process. There's a certain satisfaction to the final reveal as you buff it off. Anyone still use 845?-psx_20210518_082650-jpg

•I still use both of these LSPs.

    It looks surprisingly good.
Just imagine how well it would sell if it were in a fancy bottle and smelled good...

Regardless, I have been known to apply it to my riding mower in the past.

Yep, been using the 845 on my daily drivers. One bottle lasts such a long time due to longevity and how little needs to be used.

845 and FK1000P user here. I’ll always have at least one of them. They last years. My favorite part of 845 is the shine the day after.

As a bonus, FK1000P has the best looking tin in my opinion. Love the design.

Thanks everyone. I still love the ease of fk and then maintaining with 425. However, 845 topped at every wash with meguairs UQW is pretty great too.

I used it for the first time here,

Barn Find - 1950 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe Convertible - Extreme Paint Correction

AFTER - 1950 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe Convertible

Paint was super soft. Original single stage paint from 1950.

I did the paint correction work with RUPES UNO PURE - Ultra Fine Finishing Polish.

Sealed the paint with Collinite Insulator Wax NO. 845
