Best Carnauba wax for shine/gloss red car !

I have both PBÂ’s Natty Red and Dojo Purple Haze. Both are excellent waxes both looks and use wise. I wish PBÂ’s would use a little better quality container, but with the name and mascot, that would be hypocritical

I have all the Poorboy's waxes, I think. Love them. So easy to use, even on hot panels.

I've recently been playing with their coating....and i'm loving it. Initial sickness is SUPERB. Beads....very round. Tiny, almost complete, spheres!

I personally like Collinte 845 and it does last longer than an average carnauba wax. I usually get 3 or 4 months out of it.

845 (and all other Collinite "waxes") are actually hybrids. (I know that you know this, UD. Just posting info for the thread.)




The things I love about Collinite products are:


1) They do not advertise, yet they are still some of the most talked about products in detailing. (Since 1936).

2) There is no fancy packaging. "This is our product. Take it or leave it."

3) For a product that outlasts most other competitive offerings, it is very inexpensive.

4) There are no Cherry, Grape, Tangerine, or Pomegranate scents. Collinite products smell like petroleum. And they damn well work.

5) The gloss and shine over well-corrected paint (especially metallic) is on par with most every other carnauba offering. (Even better than some IMO).

Can it work great as a top layer over a sealant like Ultimate Liquid Wax ?

I have never used it over Meg's ULW, but I have used it over 3D Speed and WGDGPS.

IME, it plays very well with other products.
