What's the most utilized pad size you are using for small areas?
Are you finding you are using the 2" or 4" pads most often?
How often do you use an extension?

3" is probably my most used small pad.

I second this.
I have a 3" setup on my PC. And it is a necessity when working on the wife's Wrangler.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

3" for sure. Years ago LC made a 4 inch pad for the flex 3401. I hardly ever used them.

3" is the most used after 5.5 I think.
I personally just use 5.5 for everything even though I have a 3# backing plate with 3" pads . I tried it once and I did not like it , it felt like I had zero control on my DA polisher. Mind you that I was using my Griots 6" with a 3" backing plate, I dont recommended it. I really think a 3" pad should be used with a 3" polisher , lighter, smaller .
My 3 inch backing plate and pads are sitting inside a box collecting dust now , maybe someday I buy a proper 3" polisher and give it a second shot. For now 5.5 is good for everything I do
