    Sap

Help please trying to help a friend this is a 2019 Audi A6 the whole car is covered with this staining . He thinks its tree sap from Pine trees but the paint is smooth
Have tried all kinds of chemical decontamination inc tar glue hand sanitizer glass cleaner etc
to me what ever this is is in the clear coat even machining with Rupes blue pad and coarse compound polishes the clear but you can still see the damage
    ideas please
Dont feel confident to wet sand the whole car its on every panel and plastics

Hard to be sure from the pics, but that looks like some form of paint failure to me. My guess is there is nothing you can do to correct.

    Re: Sap

I agree with John, it looks more like clear coat failure than sap coverage.

Not clear coat failure if it also shows up on plastics. Has to be some form of external contamination.

    Re: Sap

Are these "Staining" on the vertical panels of the vehicle or are they on horizontal surfaces?
