    Not enough duct tape...

    Not enough duct tape...


    I would have also ran a few long strips of duct tape all the way over the back of the rear sail panel and onto the rear window. By extending the reach of the duct tape onto a horizontal panel you would increase grip-strength of the tape for those times when you hit a bump on the road but still be able to open the trunk.

    Oh hell Mike, just keep going over the rear window and back under the car about 4-5 times.

    Now THAT's the real fix!!
