Re: Rag Company's Pluffle or Griot's Garage's Plush Edgeless Towels?

Hopefully I don't add to the "kur-pluffle"Rag Company's Pluffle or Griot's Garage's Plush Edgeless Towels? here but I use my Eagle Edgeless for doing RW and sometimes WW, also the towels from DPC (forgot the name, doesn't matter) too. Some like less GSM for control while others like plush for the cushion and extra product they can hold. Which is better....yesRag Company's Pluffle or Griot's Garage's Plush Edgeless Towels?

I have used GG Plush and then started using Rag Company Pluffs and now back to GG Plush as the Rag Company rags did not work as well or last as long the GG. Another case of you get what you pay for.

If your talking about the Eagle edgeless towels can you elaborate on the issues?

I have not used those Griots towels and probably won’t for a long time as I have around 500 Eagles from TRC. I buy by the case and Griots does not offer that option. I do however have many of there PFM towels and love that entire line!

If comparing to an EE 500 both break out too around $5 ea.

I’ve got EE around 3yrs old that do eavy liftimg for my rinsless’s and still no loose threads and soft as new.

Guess different experiences for different users. I’m a GRIOTS fan as I live 25 mins from their HQ and have loved almost everything from them.

The two things that have not impressed me are their glass sealant and any MF i’ve used from them except PFM’s

Recommend EE 500’s over both. Like the Pluffles but EE more versatile.

I'll ask the same question I asked the Guz...

"These towels are both so "soft/plush" - what is it about the pluffle that is lacking vis a vis the GG's towel?"

What tasks then are the pluffles intended for?
Not saying it is a bad towel. But for QD/Drying Aid the Griot's towels would be a better option. They appear similar to the TRC eagle's. Pluffles are drying towels. The TRC Gauntlet is better than the pluffle as a drying towel.
