I am fully aware of it. Im not a pro detailer, so I dont need the highest absorbency. Having the highest absorbancy doesnt mean the best towel for me. I just need enough to dry my own car easily without wringing. I have multiple twist loop towels, they are my backup towels tbh. Different strokes for different folks. Btw I didnt start this thread.....

I'm aware of the OP. And I certainly was not attacking you. That is not what we do here on AGO.

And, there is no wringing with a PFM. In fact, it is physically impossible to wring it out.

I only tout the PFM because for a few years, (to my own regret) I resisted buying one because of the price.

Once I tried it, I was kicking myself for wasting my time with other towels.

I do want to compare the PFM to my other twist loops, but the price is too high just to experiment for fun. Maybe on a good sale one day.

    That is a fair statement.

I am no pro either. Far from it.

But with a full-sized truck and pesky Jeep Wrangler to dry, I got very frustrated with other towels.

The price of the PFM's were worth the alleviation of the headaches for me.

There you go. AG usually has a couple big MF sales per year. Or another way to snag a good deal on a PFM is to buy one of the ones in the AG Outlet store (ie. already discounted) the next time AG has a 25% off sale. That's like a double dip of savings !

Late to the party but sounds like PFM is the way to go!

I just grabbed another two pack of the 16x16" pfms. I prefer a few compact drying towels over a single large towel and I really see no reason to try anything other than these.

I have a bunch of the 16x16's as well. (Some dedicated to wheel drying.)

I can see where these would be preferable when drying smaller vehicles.

I wash mine after every use. I have quite a few of them so I use clean towels and save until I have several dirty ones then wash them all together.
