Which Ceramic/Graphene coating to use on a new Pacifica?
Good afternoon, all!
I got tired of dealing with two older vehicles ahead of a Wisconsin winter, so I went out and got a new metallic-gray Volkswagen Tiguan (mine) and a metallic-black Chrysler Pacifica (for the wife).
For the Tiguan, I used a "cheaper" ceramic coating (Color n Drive). It works well enough, and I got it on the car before the worst of winter.
For the Pacifica, we picked it up the week of Christmas. Without access to the garage (currently still filled with stuff from the move-in), I used a quick coat of Collinite 476 to get it through the winter. Now that the weather is warming up, I have the opportunity to remove it and put on a real coating.
I was really into detailing about 15 years ago, but family priorities intervened. As a result, lots has changed since my Blitz wax and Klasse days. I took advantage of my earlier stimulus check and "stimulated" Amazon for lots of detailing supplies.
Here's what I currently have in the basement. I know I have enough to start my own detailing business, but figured it was a good option for the money. Any personal preferences/recommendations from the list below? The minivan will get a full paint correction prior to coating application.
Griots Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax
Mothers CMS Ceramic Spray Coating
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro Graphene Flex Wax
Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating
Adams Graphene Spray Coating
Adams Graphene Ceramic Coating
303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating
Mothers Ultimate Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax
Duragloss Nanoglass Ceramic Spray Sealant
Turtle Wax 75th Anniversary Graphene Wax
Thanks in advance!

This is the only true coating you have. The rest are more like sealants than a coating.
So this would be your option if you want durability.

So they have both a spray AND one in a little glass container?

I guess I can pass along that 2 coats of 303 graphene, applied about 2-3 weeks apart, was still beading on my car after 3 months. My car is outside 24/7 and we had a bad winter for the month of February, so it was pounded with snow/salt/slush. I ran it through an actual "safe" drive thru wash about 6x's once it got cold out AND did a Griot's Garage foaming surface prep wash on it 3 weeks ago and water was STILL BEADING! Now to be fair I did lay down an actual ceramic coating back in June but it's been topped many times after that, washed 1-2 times a week during the summer and fall as well.
If you don't mind re-applying a product about every 3 months to renew it, the 303 graphene is a solid choice but an actual concentrated graphene coating will last longer and not have to be re-applied as often, it's up to you

Out of all those....if I were not doing the coating, it would be Griots 3 in 1. Look up Scott H on YouTube....he has a longevity test going on with a few of the items you have on your list....and the Griots product is still going at the 6 month mark. I've used it on 5 or 6 cars for people who wanted a 'budget friendly' detail......it has done very well for them (and me)

Wow...6 months!
MadMerc got some decent durability out his coat but NOT months worth. Surely depends on conditions

My daughter's Hyundai got a coat of it in October. It is outside 24/7....albeit in a parking garage. She was home recently and it is still beading very nicely. Scott H has the spray coatings on a hood that sits outside 24/7. Some very recognizable products have failed well before it.

They do.
I purchased the small bottle at first, then went ahead and got the spray version to use as a topper.
If I do go that route, I'll probably redo my Tiguan with it after I do the Pacifica - assuming no issues with application or durability.
Still considering the TW 75th Anniversary wax - as I was a "wax-on, wax-off" guy before.

I had NO idea Adam's was the ONLY company with a traditional coating that's graphene...I swear I've seen others tested on YouTube
