Going to have to look them over again this weekend and order one. I am thinking the LONG version would fit my needs.
They are indeed still in business and asked me to say so on the forum....so without violating forum rules and mentioning their name, they are up and running

Yeah, it looked like they kept the price in that nice window where sure you could make it if you wanted, but if you had to buy tools/consumables (cement/etc), you’re not going to come out far ahead.

Yeah, and I didn’t mean to say no one should try it if they have time and don’t want to spend, I just know that I’m good at building/making things that break or plain suck...

Have had one for awhile and its simple and works great just be prepared to get alittle wet :)
Re: cleaner for undercarriage
Just ordered the standard one this morning. Figured that will be enough to get the job done. Should beat kneeling down and spraying with a garden hose. Spray the undercarriage with a good APC, then put the underwasher to work.

I hope you realize you're keeping an idiot in suspense
Re: cleaner for undercarriage
Is the UNDERWASHER the real deal? YOU BETCHA. Finally got to use this unique tool. I did not pre-soak the undercarriage with any APC first. I wanted to see how the underwasher did solo. Pressure was great. Using the tool was really easy. Moves back & forth with little effort. Shut off valve is nice. Just make sure to turn it off when you move it out from the vehicle, or you will get wet. The standard was perfect for me. More than enough reach under the truck. Me being me, i looked under the truck when i was done. I was amazed how clean this tool really did get the undercarriage after weeks of salt, dirt and snow. One of the best detailing tools i have gotten. If you don't have a pressure washer, and are working with a standard hose, this is the way to go. BUY ONE!
