I just run the factory catalog rubber mats; I'm sure other options are great buy I like never having my floormats move/squirm from their anchors.
My dad was in the US Army which led to me going to jr high school in Nome, AK and high school in Fairbanks, AK. Yep, way too cold. They wouldn’t close school until it passed -55 degrees. Before I left there was a blizzard where it hit -80 with windchill though I have no clue what that felt like as I didn’t go outside.
Regarding mats shifting, in our 3 cars, the Weathertechs utilize the factory clips. To get them in/out I have to turn the knob 90 degrees to release/hold them just like the OEMs. And they go up 3-4” up the sides so no issues there. The rears go all the way across including the “driveshaft” tunnel so they never shift either.

I am sitting here in Pittsburgh, fingers crossed that this next winter storm will hammer my area. But it usually just misses.
My wife (from a very warm part of the world) and my 5yo son are looking forward to a legit sledding trip. Gotta make the most and enjoy the beauty and natural variances that come with seasons.

I think you're going to get your wish this weekend. Forecast here in central OH is for 4-6 inches.

I leave my Weather Tech mats in 24/7/365.25 in both vehicles. The wife’s Beast is also a kid hauler so when not protecting the carpets from snow, salt and winter grit it’s also protecting from whatever it is they’re eating and drinking in there. The SS on the other hand has a strictly enforced no food no drink rule but I go fishing quite frequently and doing so I traipse through mud, gravel, fields, wade in local creeks and rivers, etc. and don’t want that going onto or into my carpeting.
2017 Phantom Black Metallic Chevy SS, automatic, skylight, plus unused wheel in the boot.

You’re crazy... I literally wore a jacket & beanie to bed last night. I would’ve stayed there if I hadn’t woke up so hungry.

Well, when you walk outside and it's 10 degrees with a -12 wind chill factor, 42 fells pretty damn good............
