    Need advise---what should I get?

    Hi all,

I am low or out of ceramic stuff and will need to restock.

    Have a job coming up---Black F250. A new truck.

    1. I'll do the Dr. Beaslely Z1 on paint.
    2. Rims???
    3. Calipers???

I have the Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Surface Coating. Will this do for calipers and rims?

Or is there any coating that is more durable for wheels and calipers?

    Briar---

Checked, Dlux is good for plastic and tires.

What I need is something for Rims and Calipers...

I believe Dlux is good for plastics and wheels, not tires.

DLUX is a plastic and wheel coating. Will work fine on calipers.

You have plenty of wheel coating and high heat options. Gyeon Rim, Gtechniq C5.

You would probably be ok using what you have.

Diamond surface coating can be used on wheels. Says on AG’s website, Doesn’t say on calipers. I don’t know what temps DLux holds to but if guz says its good for calipers i believe him.

Deluxe good till 800 degrees and they’ll probably never get above 500.

If it’s tracked or a go fast car possibel to get over 1000 degrees wirh heavy corse usage.... if thats the case Gtechnic C5 wheel armor can protect to 1100 degrees. You can get small 15ml bottles from AG.

Re: Need advise---what should I get?

I've used normal paint coatings on wheels with pretty good success. It won't last as long as when it's applied to paint due to a much more harsh environment, but it does the job.

As for the calipers, that would probably require something purpose made to withstand the heat. For this reason alone I normally don't apply anything to my calipers and simply try to keep them really clean.

I'd suggest the GTechniq C5 Wheel Armor.

    Nasty stuff.

I'd also use the BLACKFIRE BLACK EDITION. This stuff is .308-Proof.
