Well my PFM was taking about 4-5 wipes and even then the panels weren’t bone dry.

I was drying a vehicle after a bucket wash that I had polished 1.5 days prior in order to prep it for lsp, so bare paint, but regardless I don’t recall PFM towels performing that poorly.... So I’m officially on the fence until further testing.

Fyi, there was no humidity at the time. If anything I was drying the vehicle in direct sunlight but it was only 65 degrees outside.
Yeah that’s why I asked i had streaking on panels also but temps were sub 40. I thought it might have been that. I’m going to test my 16x16 vs my 28x20 when i get some warmer weather

Ok I just did a quick test.
I washed my hood & trunklid, rinsed, sheeted, then grabbed 1 of my large glass waffle weaves that were still clean from my previous wash with 3D Towel Kleen and used it to dry.

Then I sheeted the panels again and grabbed the same large PFM that I had put in the dryer for 15min. and hung up and allowed to cool.

The PFM clearly outperformed the waffle weave... Could it be we’re setting our standards too high? I dunno, I’m still feeling somewhat inconclusive, but like I said, it did do much better than the waffle weave, which was a surprise to me.

It's not a surprise to me. I demoted all my WWs to glass and other duties once I got the PFM. Waffle weaves, at least for me, are now archaic towels of the past when it comes to drying
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

Nah the just show on their video that a towel that was completely hydrophobic and pushed water around dried a panel in the drag method after soak and a wash.

I just expect it to make my drying towels perform better per video. My panels were super cold so i kept it as inconclusive because other towels weren’t drying any better...

Just an FYI, those are called Bettix bottles if you want to order some of the dispensing bottles for your bulk products..

Thanks. I actually came across the name while looking for them. Most sellers that I've seen seem to be geared towards bulk sales so the cost of shipping a few is high enough that it's not worthwhile.

I’m seeing nearly all the sellers on ebay offering free shipping with an average cost of about $5 bucks per bottle.

With as much claylube, waterless wash, and APC I can sometimes go through, these bottles make things way more convenient.
